Welcome to scissorhounds, a professional dog grooming studio based in Chandlers Ford, Southampton.

My name is Debbie Pitman and I have recently completed my training in Salisbury, working under a wonderful tutor who has been in the business for 40 years. Inspired by my working cocker spaniel, Pluto (right), who spends the majority of his life in smelly, muddy river beds having the time of his life, I now work from a small, friendly studio.

I aim to ensure every dog looks forward to their next visit and every owner goes home with a clean, fresh, well groomed and well cared for dog. There are rarely more than two dogs in my studio at any one time which means there are little distractions whilst I work hard to return your dog to its former glory.
